Small budget, big benefit from good design

An article in the FSB Network Magazine explained the benefits for companies who put design at the heart of their strategies to overcome the challenges of the economic downturn.

The article gives details of the studies made by the Design Business Association (DBA), who run the Design Effectiveness Awards, proving that design can permeate all aspects of business, by improving profitability, creating new revenue streams, raising a companies profile, building brand recognition and empowering staff to deliver results.

However, it is not easy to convince businesses to see design as a vital investment rather than a cost, especially when budgets are tight.
