Second Fridays Romsey is an independant network group aligned with the First Friday Network.

Increased Alliance with the First Friday Network:

Second Fridays has always been an independent networking group since its inception in 2004 but aligned with the First Friday Network, based in Chichester, since it was inspired by the original informal free networking concept, developed by Steve Wilson of Wilson Design Associates for First Friday.

Over the years, this informal and free networking formula has proved to be extremely successful and the First Friday Network now consists of eight networking groups across East and West Sussex and is set to expand nationally.

This expansion can only benefit Second Fridays and Second Fridays members, as our alignment with the First Friday Network gives us a much greater exposure to business entrepreneurs (and scientists) over a geographical area between Romsey and Lewes, and naturally any of the Second Fridays or First Friday Network Members are free to visit any of the other networking  groups.

Second Fridays is included and has a web page, on the First Friday Network Website which gives First Friday Network members access to us and our news.

Finally, Second Fridays members can now register with the First Friday Network and make a free entry in their excellent business directory, enabling members to have exposure across the whole First Friday Network and to receive copies of the First Friday Network eNewsletter.

Inclusion of Science Networking from October 2009:

Sharp-eyed members may have noticed that Second Fridays Business & Entrepreneurial Networking Group has now become Second Fridays, Business, Science and Entrepreneurial Networking Group. From the October meeting, scientists and science based entrepreneurs will be encouraged to join Second Fridays meetings to network alongside our existing business based members encouraging interaction between business and science.

Second Fridays is owned and sponsored by Consult-igma Ltd, a science based consultancy and it has always been our ambition to attract scientists to Second Fridays networking meetings which should enhance membership and provide a better networking experience for all our members.
